The Sun Garden is a one-level brick home, decorated in bright, inviting colors. It's garden-like landscaping includes magnolias, wisteria, azaleas, palms, bamboo, blueberry bushes, and pecan, pear, banana and fig trees! Have your morning coffee or evening libation sitting out by your own private swimming pool near a palm tree. Grill a burger or two on the gas grill. You might even pluck a ripe fig or two in season. But above all, kick back and relax.
The home sleeps up to 10, featuring a large master bedroom with a king bed for sleeping comfort, ceiling fan, TV/DVD/VCR, telephone and private bath. The Pineapple Sundae bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan, clock radio and TV/VCR. The Dolphin bedroom has one twin bed and a combination futon/bunk bed (futon on bottom/bunk on top) plus a TV/DVD/VCR and selection of movies. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, and a portable crib is available. The home has a full kitchen; dining area; family room with TV/DVD/VCR and books, movies and games; and a laundry room.
Access to a beautiful white-sand beach is just a short 2-block stroll away, near Pompano Joe's seafood restaurant, right on the Gulf. You’ll find Chinese, Mexican and Thai restaurants around the corner, right in the neighborhood. There's also quick access to the best restaurants, golf courses, and hot spots in Destin. And lets not forget the largest designer outlet mall in the US only 2.5 miles away.
Small pets are welcome in this pet-friendly home. There is a good-size gated, fenced-in yard for pets to romp in and enjoy their vacation with your family.
So linger beneath a tropical palm near your own private pool, stroll the squeaky white sand beaches or swim in the gulf's warm surf. The Sun Garden will charm you into a definite return vacation!

Activities in the Destin Area
Destin features a wide array of water-oriented activities, including beautiful white-sand beaches, surfing, sailing, parasailing, snorkeling/scuba diving, pontoon boat rentals, windsurfing, kayaking, jet skiing, sightseeing/dinner/dolphin watching cruises, and shelling. You can even swim with the dolphins in the open ocean. The shopping is great, with the largest Designer Outlet Mall in the US just 2.5 miles from the home.
Other activities include hiking/walking (Gulf-front state parks nearby), biking, miniature golf, fitness center/gym, tennis, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, amusement parks, museums, zoo, restaurants, cinemas and scooter & electric vehicle rentals.
The Destin area is home to a dozen fine golf courses, available to the public. There are nearby state forests with biking trails and bike, kayak and canoe rentals. And Destin is close to deep water, boasting a large fleet of charter fishing boats and day boats for the finest in deep-sea fishing.

$1500/week; $230/night, 6-night minimum; We welcome responsible student groups. Weeks of March 20 and March 27 only $1100/week!

$1050/week; $160/night, 3-night minimum
Summer: May 16 - August 13
$1875/week; $275/night, 6-night minimum; We do not charge a cleaning fee on a full week's stay.

Rental to Student Groups
We rent to responsible student groups with a $750 security deposit and a $90 cleaning fee.
Reservations
Half of rent is due upfront to secure the reservation. The remainder of the rent, plus 11.5% Florida tax and a $500 ($750 for students) security deposit are due 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.
The security deposit will be refunded within 2-3 days of checkout, if the property is left in the condition in which it was found and all rental policies are followed.
All reservations during peak season are from Saturday (4 pm check-in) to Saturday (10 am check-out).
Cleaning Fee
A $90 cleaning fee will be charged for rentals of less than a full week.
