It's time to kick off your shoes, relax and get away from everyday. And The Pelican's Elbow is the vacation home to help you do just that. It has everything you need for that relaxing week at the seashore, including a large private swimming pool and patio - great for morning coffee instead of a morning commute.
Don’t be crammed into a cramped condo. This beautiful home with its nautical décor is perfect for large families or groups. You have room to stretch out – 2020 sq. feet (largest floor plan in the neighborhood) -- with large living/dining room, four bedrooms and two baths, a spacious family room, full kitchen with a breakfast bar seating 6 and everything you need for housekeeping plus a full laundry room. Everything is on one floor, so there are no stairs to contend with.
The spacious Master bedroom features a king size bed for sleeping comfort, a TV/VCR/DVD, a private bath with double sinks, large soaker tub & shower and a huge walk-in closet. The Kahuna and Palm Bedrooms both have queen beds, TV/VCR and alarm clocks just in case you don't want to sleep in. The Twin bedroom features two twin beds and TV/VCR. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan. There are queen sleeper sofas in separate living and family rooms. We have a portable crib available.
You’ll enjoy a large back yard fenced for privacy and security with your own private swimming pool, large gas grill and tropical landscaping.
The white-sugar-sand beach is a short stroll away and dining, shopping and amusements are close at hand. You can swim with dolphins, cruise the Gulf, parasail, kayak or partake in any of dozens of other nearby activities.
At the end of a great day in the sun, you can enjoy the family room with High Definition TV/VCR/DVD and selection of books, videos and family games. Free high-speed Internet is also provided.
Kick back, soak up some sun and work on your tan (or lounge in the shade) and enjoy life at the Pelican's Elbow.

Activies in the Destin Area
Destin features a wide array of water-oriented activities, including beautiful white-sand beaches, surfing, parasailing, snorkeling/scuba diving, pontoon boat rentals, windsurfing, kayaking, jet skiing, sightseeing/dinner/dolphin watching cruises, and shelling. You can even swim with the dolphins in the open ocean. The shopping is great, with the largest Designer Outlet Mall in the US just 3 miles from the home.
Other activities include hiking/walking (Gulf-front state park nearby), biking, miniature golf, gym, tennis, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, amusement parks, museums, zoo, restaurants, cinemas and scooter & electric vehicle rentals.
The Destin area is home to a dozen fine golf courses. There are nearby state forests with biking trails and bike and canoe rentals. Destin is close to deep water, boasting a large fleet of charter fishing boats and day boats for the finest in deep-sea fishing.

$1775/week; $260/night, 6-night minimum; We rent to responsible student groups. $150/week discount to families.

*Rates reflect 8 persons or fewer. The home sleeps up to 12, so add $50/week ($10/night) per additional person over age 2.
Rentals to Student Groups
We rent to responsible student groups with a $750 security deposit and a $90 cleaning fee.
Reservations
Half of rent is due upfront to secure the reservation. The remainder of the rent, plus 11.5% Florida tax and a $500 ($750 for students) security deposit are due 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. There is an additional $250 security deposit if use of golf cart is desired.
The security deposit will be refunded within 2-3 days of checkout, if the property is left in the condition in which it was found and all rental policies are followed.
All reservations during peak season are from Saturday (4 pm check-in) to Saturday (10 am check-out).
Cleaning Fee
A $90 cleaning fee is applicable to rentals of less than a full week.

Monthly Rentals
The home is available for monthly rentals during the fall and winter seasons at $1050/mo plus utilities for 2 people for 2-4 months. Inquire about rates for additional people.
